Egg tarts, pineapple buns, noodle stalls, tea stalls, trams, ferries, Victoria Harbour, neon lights... These are all classic symbols of Hong Kong and represent the deep impressions many people have of the city.
This art exhibition carries the collective memories of service users from the Salvation Army Heng On Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Service and the public regarding Hong Kong. Each handcrafted work is filled with nostalgic sentiments about the city.
We hope that through this exhibition, we can showcase the craft creations of people with disabilities, allowing them to develop their potential through art, deepen their connection with the community, and could share their unique stories and voices with the public.
