BOCI raises SMIC (00981) to HKD98.6

  [ET Net News Agency, 19 May 2026] BOCI raised the target price for SMIC (00981) to HKD98.6 from HKD83.5 and maintained the "buy" rating.
  The research house said it expects SMIC to continue benefit from major domestic GPUs' crowded tape-out plans in 2H26 to cater booming AI demand. (rc)
