[ET Net News Agency, 14 April 2026] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$121.4
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$17.39 billion, or 14.32% of the market's
turnover. There were 775 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.06 billion and HK$1.32
billion, or 11.82% and 7.61% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 27.45% and 38.84% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and CATL (03750) registered HK$692.49 million and HK$658.15 million of
short sales, accounting for 3.98% and 3.79% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 24.68% and 31.84% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.1, or 0.39%, to HK$26.06. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.004, or
0.08%, to HK$4.728. HSCEI ETF rose HK$0.2, or 0.23% to HK$88.3. CATL declined by HK$29.5,
or 4.32%, to HK$653.
