[ET Net News Agency, 10 April 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$246.32
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$39.88 billion, or 16.19% of the market's
turnover. There were 814 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.82 billion and HK$2.44 billion, or
7.07% and 6.12% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
14.99% and 31.6% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.22 billion and HK$1.57 billion
of short sales, accounting for 5.58% and 3.94% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 33.31% and 15.02% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.14, or 0.54%, to HK$26.16. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.38, or
0.43%, to HK$88.56. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.044, or 0.93% to HK$4.758. TENCENT declined by
HK$4, or 0.79%, to HK$504.5.
