HK$122.27 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$22.48 billion, or 18.38% of the
market's turnover. There were 660 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.43 billion and HK$1.63
billion, or 10.81% and 7.26% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 31.24% and 30.24% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.56 billion and HK$1.45 billion
of short sales, accounting for 6.95% and 6.44% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 23.99% and 39.2% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.04, or 0.2%, to HK$19.79. HSCEI ETF ended flat, to HK$72.72.
TENCENT fell HK$2.6, or 0.68% to HK$379.8. CSOP HS TECH jumped HK$0.048, or 1.11%, to
HK$4.378.
