HK$60.47 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$8.72 billion, or 14.43% of the
market's turnover. There were 621 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT
(00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$756.34 million and HK$554.85
million, or 8.67% and 6.36% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 31.17% and 21.39% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$397.75 million and HK$382.79
million of short sales, accounting for 4.56% and 4.39% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 22.12% and 23.34% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.002, or 0.05%, to HK$4.314. TENCENT ended up HK$3.6, or
0.89%, to HK$409.8. MEITUAN-W rose HK$0.7, or 0.41% to HK$172.6. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$0.75, or 2.65%, to HK$27.55.
