There were 886 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$9.72 billion and HK$3.64 billion, or 16.17% and 6.07% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 41.26% and 26.53% of respective stock's turnover.
SMIC (00981) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.85 billion and HK$1.83 billion of short sales, accounting for 3.08% and 3.04% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 15.94% and 27.17% of respective stock's turnover.
