There were 839 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W (01810) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.63 billion and HK$3.05 billion, or 7.11% and 5.97% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 21.69% and 36.72% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.94 billion and HK$1.6 billion of short sales, accounting for 3.81% and 3.14% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 17.39% and 8.9% of respective stock's turnover.
